If you plan to walk through the center of Madrid during these days of Easter, take note, as the Metro station Sol and Cercanías will close their accesses during these days, although transfers will be allowed.
This measure is taken in view of the increase in the number of people expected during the Easter vacation period, so it is the Municipal Police itself that is requesting the closure of the entrances and exits of the Sol station.
In this way, and on the dates and times detailed below, there will be no possibility of entering or leaving the station, both for the Metro and the Cercanías. However, if you are coming from another station, trains will stop only for transfers.
In addition, trains on line 5 (Alameda de Osuna – Casa de Campo) will not stop at Gran Vía station.
